Welcome To Your Safe Place for Personal Exploration.
If you’re here, it may be because life feels difficult right now. I work with clients who feel stuck, anxious, or weighed down by trauma, grief, isolation, or shame, supporting them to explore what these experiences might be pointing to beneath the surface. Together, we approach these signals with curiosity and compassion, allowing space for insight, healing, and new ways of meeting life to emerge.
PACFA ACCREDITED COUNSELLOR & PSYCHOTHERAPIST
Hi, Im Matt
Coming to you with a life of lived experience. I know what it’s like to feel stuck in your life, in your work, weighed down by a heaviness that overshadows everything. I used to think there was no way out, that “this is just life.” Well, I’m here to tell you change is possible. Being stuck can be temporary, and it’s absolutely okay, often essential to ask for help.
Special Interests
Trauma Counselling
Trauma can leave us feeling anxious, shut down, or distant, shaping how we see ourselves and connect with others. Early stress, sometimes called Adverse Childhood Experiences (ACEs), can affect the nervous system and our ability to feel safe in relationships. Trauma work offers a gentle way to bring the nervous system back into balance, so we can feel more grounded, connected, and open to life.
Mens Work
Men often face unique challenges in today’s changing world, where old expectations no longer fit and new roles can feel unclear. Many carry silent burdens of judgment and shame, alongside struggles with purpose, loneliness, or disconnection. Men’s work offers a space free of judgment to explore these experiences openly, strengthen emotional resilience, and reconnect with what truly matters — in life, in relationships, and in yourself.
Anxiety & Depression
Anxiety and depression can feel overwhelming, leaving you stuck in worry, heaviness, or self-doubt. They are often signals of something deeper going on, unmet needs, unresolved stress, or old patterns that no longer serve you. Therapy offers a space to explore these experiences with compassion, calm the nervous system, and discover new ways of coping and connecting that bring back a sense of hope and possibility.
“Your edge is where your growth lies. Lean into it, breathe into it, and let it teach you how to live with presence, purpose and love”

Not at all. Reaching out for support is a sign of strength, not weakness. Many people carry shame or fear around asking for help, but therapy is a space free from judgment — one where all parts of you are welcome. Whatever you’re bringing, chances are it’s more common than you think.

It’s common to fear that intense emotions, confusion, or inner struggles mean something is wrong with you. But in reality, many people experience anxiety, overwhelm, grief, or patterns they don’t understand. Therapy helps you make sense of these experiences with compassion — not pathology.

That’s completely okay. You don’t need to have it all figured out to begin. Part of the therapeutic process is discovering together what’s going on beneath the surface. You can come exactly as you are — it’s my role to help create a space where things can gently unfold.
